PROPHETIC RESPONSE TO GOD'S KINGDOM

Several scriptures talk about the revival that is to come upon the earth before the return of Jesus Christ. When the wise virgins heard the cry  of the watchmen, they trimmed their lamps: this activity is symbolic of the adjustments that many will make as they hear the message of God's kingdom.

A classical prophecy on this revival is recorded in Isaiah 40:3-5.

3. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

4. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

5. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

This prophecy was relevant in the days of John the Baptist and even now, as we look forward to the return of King Jesus, there is a demand that the way of the Lord be prepared.

The way of the Lord is the people of the Lord and it is to us this prophecy applies.

The event of Jesus' return to earth is not a casual event that will happen on earth. It is in every sense the return of the King of kings. So, it is appropriate that we get ourselves prepared to receive him; hence, the need for the way of the Lord to be prepared.

For us to see the glory of the Lord upon the earth and in our lives, we need to judge ourselves against divine standards and make adjustments where necessary.

In response to my apostolic assignment to prepare the way of the Lord, I have written a book that I believe will fan the flames of revival in the hearts of God's people.

In my new book titled "Prophetic Response To God's Kingdom", I explained in detail the meaning of each prophetic expectation recorded in Isaiah 40:3-5 and the accurate responses we are to give upon realisation that we fall short of any.

In the pages of this book, you will find teachings that will prove useful as they are intended to fan the flames of revival in the hearts of many and make ready a people prepared for the Lord's return.

I encourage you to get a copy of this book today on Amazon or request a digital copy through direct message.

God has blessed you.

THE LORD IS OUR SHEPHERD

The Lordship of the Father is seen in the shepherding role he fulfils in our lives. Little wonder Psalm 23 introduces the Lord as our shepherd.

As natural sheep are expected to obey the voice of the shepherd if they are going to experience the blessedness of his role over their lives, so are we expected to obey the voice of the shepherd of our soul.

The voice of the Lord is not a suggestion; the voice of the Lord is the instruction we live by: for man shall live by every word that comes out of the mouth of the Father.

We are brought into provision, pleasure and protection when we follow the leading of the shepherd. He understands every pathway on earth: for he sees the end from the beginning.

Do not demand that he explain the reasons for His instructions: for our lifetime on earth is not enough to sit at his feet and hear the reasons for his instructions before we obey.

He demands obedience, and prompt obedience at that if we are going to show that we are in submission to his will.

We suffer lack and loss when the Lord is not our shepherd. Our enemies have advantage over us when we refuse to submit to the Lord: for only in submission to the Lord can we resist the devil as our obedience needs to be fulfilled if we are going to judge all disobedience.

If the Lord is your shepherd, you must decide to remain his sheep.

God has blessed you.

TESTIMONY OF HIS LORDSHIP

You would always feel the desire to do the things that please the flesh: this is the continual experience in this present world; hence, the need for you to pledge allegiance to God and choose the Lordship of Jesus over the instructions of the flesh.

As a bondservant of the Lord, you are under obligation to obey the Father. Jesus, in the days of his flesh, felt the compelling need to obey the flesh when he said, "Let this cup pass from me", but the flesh couldn't earn his obedience as he quickly said, "Not my will but your will be done."

We must follow the pattern of Christ and not see the demands of the flesh as an excuse to obey its instructions. We must constantly think and say, "Not my will, but your will be done."

There are moments when the voice of the flesh is very loud, but the voice of the Lord must still be heard and hearkened to. Our obedience to the Father in those times is a testimony of his Lordship over us.

Remember, to whom you obey, his servant you are; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness.

Begin to exercise yourself to declare same words as Christ by obeying the general instructions of the Lord that are written in the scripture of truth, for the days come, now are those days, when specific instructions from the Lord must be obeyed if we truly are his and love his voice.

God has blessed you.

CHOOSING TO BE A BONDSERVANT

The highest form of devotion is to give to the Lord the freedom he gave to you and choose instead to be his bondservant.

While we may choose to serve God the way we want to, fulfilling our desires at the expense of his and yet professing that he is our God, we have only shown that we do not regard him as Lord.

What he tells us to do we must do; our conducts and activities must reflect his will and this begins by asking the question, "What would you have me do Lord?".

Yes, we are sons and freeborn at that, but the fullness of our relevance in the Kingdom of God can only be attained when we willingly take up the role of a bondservant.

It matters no more if we feel okay with His bidding nor do we esteem our comfort over his leading - how then will we experience the ministry of the comforter if we strive for comfort outside his leading - for after these things do the heathen seek after.

We must say, "Take my heart and take my will: use them Lord just as you choose, for I was created for your pleasure".

REVIVAL OF FAITH

One of the marks of the revival that is to come upon the earth is a revival of faith in the Lord.

As fundamental as faith is to the Christian Life - for the just shall live by faith - many have strayed far from the expression of same.

Our lack of faith is seen in many areas, chiefly in our complaints and unwillingness to obey the Lord in matters of godly conduct and assignments he gives to us.

We find excuses to prevent us from taking the journey of faith in the direction of God's will for our lives; we take no thought to the matter of dependency on the Lord, but joyfully depend on secular wisdom and the arm of flesh - forgetting that the Lord is in our midst, we spontaneously complain about our challenges and scarcely talk about the promises of our good Lord.

Jesus questioned the presence of faith in our hearts in view of his return to earth when he said, "Will I find faith on the earth when I return?"

The Lord in his wisdom has ordained the days to come as an occasion for the Church universal to restore faith to its central position in our lives. But each of us must first examine ourselves to know whether we are in faith. And if we are found  wanting, the only solution would be to turn to the scriptures of truth and cry out in prayer saying, "Lord, help my unbelief!"

The just shall live by faith: for without it, it is impossible to please God.

God has blessed you.
