WHAT IS WITHIN

“Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.”

                                                                                                                                             Daniel 6:3 (KJV)

The success that was experienced by Daniel was courtesy of an excellent spirit that what resident in him. He definitely wasn’t the only skilled person in the Babylonian realm. Considering the fact that his colleagues were Babylonians, he should have come behind in ranking, but scripture says he was preferred above them all because an excellent spirit was found in him.

As potent as “what is written” is in guaranteeing us success in life, “what is within” will do likewise. The spirit of excellence is on the inside of every born again child of God. Excellence, which is defined as the quality of excelling; possessing good qualities in high degree becomes the distinguishing factor in the life of whosoever he resides. Scripture gave an account of Jesus’ experience with the Pharisees. In one situation they marveled when they saw Jesus teaching, they said, “How knoweth this man letters, having never learned.” They knew Jesus didn’t go to school, so how could he have read that well – an excellent spirit was in him.

Jesus’ disciples had a similar experience on the day he healed the man by the beautiful gate, scripture says that when the council members perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge that they had been with Jesus.

The same spirit that was in Jesus and in his disciples is also in you, but you need to acknowledge his presence for you to experience the success he can bring into whatever you do. There are two ways by which you can activate the excellent spirit in you: acknowledging the presence of the spirit and stirring the spirit.

Philemon 1:6 says, “That the communication of your faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” Knowledge activates and heightens supernatural operations. Scripture also advises us to stir up the gift of God that is in us and this can be done through praying, preferably, in tongues

Your ugly experiences, level of knowledge, or inadequate skills are not strong enough a reason for you to fail in life, acknowledge the spirit that is in you and activate its operation through prayers.

CONFESSION
I acknowledge that there is an excellent spirit within me; therefore, I activate his operations in my life.
