RATHER BELIEVE

“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”
PSALM 27:13 (KJV)

The above scripture lets us know what the consequence of not believing God is; the psalmist clearly states that he would have fainted had he not believed to see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

The word “faint” as used in this scripture means to give up; and this is the experience of quite a number of people as they abandon projects, aspirations, visions, dreams, and goals because of temporary disappointments. It is better to believe God to do for you what you cannot do for yourself than worry over what you cannot do for yourself.

Faith in God triggers a feeling of optimism in you which leaves you in a state of emotional well-being; depression sets in when you worry. Jesus clearly stated that no man can improve his life by worrying. There is nothing impossible for God to do. For everything you believe God to do, there is something greater he has done in the past.

The act of believing God releases his power into that area of your life where you need a miracle. When Jesus was in flesh, there was no one who believed him that didn’t experience a miracle. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Scripture says for us to cast all our anxiety on Him for he cares for us.

Let God know you believe him for his intervention in your life, and wait patiently for him no matter how long it takes: if not for the experience of the miraculous, for the benefit of your health believe and wait for the miracle.
